Yuri Kochiyama - Forced to live in a horse stable and later interned in Arkansas after the attack on Pearl Harbor, Kochiyama went on to become an influential member of the Organization of Afro-American Unity, champion freedom for political prisoners, draw attention to the Puerto Rican nationalist movement, and fight for nuclear disarmament and reparations for Japanese-American internment.
